You've seen the gorgeous photos and you've salivated over the menus, so now onto the our service. At Longcroft we take this very seriously and ensure that all the services we provide are maintained to the highest standards.

We are situated in the heart of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, click here to view a map and get directions.

We are verily easily reached from London. Several of our guests come by tube!

You could try our chauffer service - let our lovely driver Harold come and collect your beloved pet. Please contact us for costs.

Please do let us know if you are travelling a long distance as we will make sure there is a welcome plate of goodies for your cat & the kettle will be on!

Settling in

At Longcroft we encourage you to show your cat to his or her suites and settle in.

Our experience tells us that a happy & calm owner means a happy cat. Please let us know if your cat is worried by car travel or is a shy or nervous type as we can help the settling in process by the use of Feliway, a calming pheromone room spray which mimics the aura given off by cats when they are calm & happy.

Veterinary Care

In the unlikely event that any guest should become ill whilst in our care we have enlisted The Village Vet practice which is a grade 2 veterinary hospital, offering 24 hour care for all of our guests. We also use Attimore Veterinary Hospital.

Vaccinations Required

For the safety of all of our guests we ask your cat is vaccinated against Feline enteritis, feline Influenza and Leukaemia. We ask each owner to provide a vaccination certificate before check and are unable to accept any guests without one.

Green Policy

At Longcroft we go to great lengths to ensure we preserve our precious environment. Even our cat litter is made of fully biodegradable corn & removes odour within ten seconds. 100% natural, clumping cat litter, made from whole kernel corn, bio-degradable - 100% eco-friendly.

Ditch the car and treat your cat!

Longcroft will provide a complimentary welcome supper from our prestigious A La Cat menu if you deliver your boarding guest by any means other than the car!!

Grooming

Having your Cat groomed at Longcroft is the perfect excuse to pamper your pet. We adopt a calm and welcoming approach to relax your pet whilst they are being beautified. For costs please see our optional extras.

Diabetic Cats

If your cat or cats are diabetic please don’t worry. We are fully trained and adopt a calm and gentle approach to any guest requiring insulin injections or tablets being administered.
