Welcome to Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Banbury.

Longcroft Banbury, located in the picturesque village of Marston St Lawrence, offers five-star accommodation for feline guests. Offering just seven luxury suites, each has its own climate-controlled bedroom, leading to a private, safe, garden play area, complete with multi-storey viewing platforms for feline guests to play or relax. The idyllic location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests, with stunning views over a peaceful garden and overlooking a large koi fish pond, which attracts a host of native wildlife. The quiet, rural site is conveniently located near Silverstone, Buckingham, Chipping Norton and The North Cotswolds.

Meet The Family

Kara lives with her husband Richard, their three young boys, and their British shorthair pussycats, Betty, Bernard and Maggie. They also share their beautiful rural home with a cocker spaniel, a labrador, 16 chickens, 10 ducks, 6 sheep and 4 alpacas. Kara clearly adores animals especially those that purr! She and her family love living in their peaceful home, surrounded by native wildlife and hectares of stunning, rolling countryside.

After a career in HR and time looking after her sons, Kara is delighted to be running her very own luxury cat hotel, putting her Diploma in Feline Studies to excellent use!

“We came across Longcroft when looking for a cattery to house our three beloved indoor cats, while we had some renovations completed on our house. Having researched the local area extensively, and having visited the options on offer, I realised there was nothing in our local area that would keep them in the manner to which they had become accustomed! For cats that had not been outside, never been cold, and never been away from human company, I didn’t feel a traditional cattery would be right for them. That led us to Longcroft, which has a fabulous ethos and offered luxurious surroundings for my much loved cats. We felt this was a service that was much-needed in our area, and thus the idea of Longcroft Banbury was born.

  • Calm, organised and reassuring

    Our cat Hannah hadn't stayed away from home before, and we were in some turmoil because of building works. Emma was superb - calm, organised and reassuring. Hannah stayed with her twice, and was very happy in her wonderful suite. The photos were great as well. The whole experience was a great relief and about the only aspect of our project which was delivered on time and was better than expectations! I would like to give Longcroft Winchmore Hill the highest recommendation possible.

  • Emma put me at complete ease

    It was so hard to decide what to do with our precious British Shorthair Terry Cat when my husband and I had to travel earlier this year. We looked at lots of options and when I spoke to Emma at Winchmore Hill Longcroft Cat Hotel on the telephone, she put me at complete ease and the decission was made Terry would be staying at Longcroft. Terry stayed with Emma for approx 18 days and Emma sent us regular photos and health updates. Emma was even accommodating when we changed our flights and collected Terry few days earlier than planned. Terry was well groomed and seemed very happy when we collected him. We have now booked Terry in for Christmas Break.

  • It's the best holiday they have ever had

    Having viewed at least 10 places locally and feeling very disheartened by the lack of connection with the proprietors , their lack of real passion in cats and also seeing that the cat suites where nothing more than just a basic wooden shelter with little security I was about to give up. Then I saw an advert for Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel, I immediately went the website and I knew there and then that I had found my cats the perfect safe place. Having put my 16yr old in a cattery before he had destroyed his room, pulled the cat flap away from the internal wall, so I was really worried. But to my surprise he quickly took to Abi and his new holiday home, within a few minutes he was eating and quiet contended. The 2 girls both seemed a little more cautious but after a while settled in happily. Abi knew it was my first time leaving them in a new place and that my eldest was on tablets and my youngest was very nervous and hated being away from me for long periods, but I knew they were safe and Abi would look after them. It was the first time I have left them and not looked back wondering if they are OK, are they happy? Which actually made my vacation more enjoyable. When I returned to collect them I was a little sad that they did not rush to meet me, instead they were lying on their beds chilling in no rush to move. I have already booked their next Holiday for 2015. If they could actually speak to me they would say ‘it’s the best holiday they have ever had and could I go away more often’.

  • A guaranteed home away from home

    I have been bringing my cats to stay with Abi at Longcroft for several years now and I could argue that they prefer being there to being at home! They clearly love it there as when I collect them they are content, relaxed and have clearly thrived. Abi is always very aware of the welfare of cats in her care, and on occasions when I've had concerns about the health of one of my cats she has kept a close eye on him, monitored his weight and how much he was eating and kept me updated of how he was whilst I was away. A guaranteed home away from home for cats.

  • Helen made sure that Denzel felt secure and happy

    Denzel is a rescue cat and I didn't want to put him in a cattery whilst we moved house, as he would think that he had been abandoned again. Longcroft was the right choice for him. From the beautiful cat bed to the amazing scratch post/hammock/plaything the venue is perfect for pampered pets. In addition to the 'room' the thing (well, person really!) that made Denzel feel welcome was the lovely Helen. When we arrived Denzel had got a little upset and Helen made sure that he felt secure and happy before we left him to his little holiday. To reassure us even further, we received emails from Denzel telling us what he had been up to and how he had enjoyed the A La Cat menu that we had arranged for him. Denzel and I would highly recommend Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Fontwell as somewhere ideal for your cat to stay.

  • What a great find!

    What a great find! Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Helen who showed Belle to her suite, which was immaculate and had everything a cat could wish for. I knew that Belle would be in safe hands but I was slightly worried that she would be reluctant to leave! During Belles stay we received an email update to let us know she had settled well which was reassuring. Helen has since sent me a few photos of her stay. I would highly recommend this cat hotel.
