I wish that we could give more stars to Emma! This was the first time we ever boarded our Burmese and she can be a grump when not in her comfort zone. Emma really worked with us to ensure that her stay was a great experience, both for Saffron and for us. From making sure that she had a “corner suite” to being really flexible on “check-in” and check-out” times and even sending us an update email during our holiday, Emma really made the whole process wonderful! We could not speak anymore highly of the Winchmore Hill Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel!
I have used Longcroft Cat Hotel St Albans for the first time and I was so impressed with the excellent service and cleanliness of the rooms that I would recommend it to any cat owner. Ollie loved his little bed and when I collected him he was calm and looking very clean and smart. Gill obviously adores cats and made him feel at ease during his stay. I would recommend Gill to anyone that has cats and assure you that they will be looked after exceptionally well and they will also enjoy their holiday whilst you enjoy yours! Trying to find a cattery that you trust, feel that your cat is safe and in a clean and healthy environment is difficult to do (especially if you have not left your cat before) but as soon as I met Gill and delivered our 6 month Kitten Peanut to her I felt so happy and any worry soon disappeared. Gill is a lovely caring person who treated Peanut as one of her own, The Luxury Cat Hotel is spotless clean, plenty of room in the suite and he was looked after so well I don’t think he wanted to come home!
Very clean and well thought out accommodation for my 2 fur babies! Letty answered all my questions beforehand and all went very smoothly. Upon collecting my cats I could tell they were relaxed, happy and had been well looked after, in fact one in particular didn’t want to get in his carrier to go home! Have booked them in for my next holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Longcroft.
I knew that the time would come that meant I needed somewhere for my very precious Jude to stay. All the catteries I looked at seemed to have that ‘just a business – standard accommodation’ feel which made me really reluctant to use. Then, one Thursday afternoon, I saw the advert for Longcroft Pamber Heath – I had to go and visit as soon as I could and when I did, well that was just the place I had been wishing for!
Lia was so welcoming and more importantly, a cat lover & owner who understood my fears of leaving Jude with someone else! The hotel was spotless and just felt ‘right’. I can’t thank Lia enough for the care she took of Jude – not just feeding and cleaning the litter tray but actively playing with Jude, giving him cuddles, grooming and generally having time for him.
The hotel itself oozes luxury but has the fundamental element of ‘really caring for it’s guests’. Take it from me – a strict vegetarian, animal welfare first freak – if I’m happy for Jude to stay there, it must be good!!!
