Longcroft Winchmore Hill offers just six luxury suites, located in owner Emma’s pretty garden and providing round the clock supervision, security and consistency of care. The peaceful location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests – a calm retreat designed with comfort and feline happiness in mind.

You’ll have placed your cat in the very best hands. Longcroft Winchmore Hill is part of our award-winning family of boutique cat hotels, each individually owned and lovingly run by feline experts dedicated to personalised care. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do and every cat receives plenty of playtime and one on one attention. All cat owners receive regular updates and photos throughout their kitty’s stay, giving them complete peace of mind that their feline family members are safe, happy, and thoroughly pampered.

Each of our suites comes complete with a thermostatically controlled bedroom, a wrought-iron bed with soft bedding, and an adjoining private play area that brings the outdoors safely in. Every guest can enjoy fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature while remaining cosy, secure and enclosed. Each suite features a full-height cat tree with sunbathing platforms and privacy films between suites. Daily housekeeping with meticulous litter care ensures every suite remains clean, calm and beautifully maintained.

Throughout their stay we provide tailored enrichment, gentle grooming, care needs and mealtimes to meet each guest’s established routine. For owners who value exceptional standards or for felines with more specific needs, we offer our Luxury All Inclusive Package and Medical Care packages are available. We can provide chauffeur travel arrangements on request.

    Meet The Family

    Welcome to Longcroft Winchmore Hill - lovingly run by Emma.

    Emma is a devoted animal lover who loves nothing more than spending time with her precious guests in her hotel! She lives with her husband Mark, their two daughters (all fellow animal enthusiasts), and their much-loved rescue cats, Stella and Ophelia, alongside two small dogs and four horses.

    Emma opened Longcroft Winchmore Hill in 2014, after being inspired by Longcroft Founder Abi Purser on Channel 4’s 'Change Your Life'. Having always shared her home with cats, Emma immediately knew she wanted to be part of Longcroft’s unique approach to feline care. Just 18 months later, her dream became a reality – and over a decade on, she’s still providing outstanding care to hundreds of happy guests. Every guest at Longcroft Winchmore Hill is treated like family - Emma takes pride in offering truly bespoke care.

    "I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember, so when I discovered Longcroft on Channel 4’s 'Change Your Life' in 2013, I instantly knew it was the perfect fit. I was inspired by the unique concept and the level of care it offered - and 18 months later, I opened the doors to Longcroft Winchmore Hill. A dream job!

I pride myself on offering a calm, tailored experience for every guest, and giving owners complete peace of mind while they’re away. I have some amazing customers, too, so I make sure nothing is too much trouble.     What really impressed me was Emma's flexibility and understanding

    She allowed me to leave my water fountain with him, and when I mentioned about leaving a light on (as he doesn't like total blackout), accommodated to his routine. To be fair she was completely accommodating. We'd never left him before as we've never gone on holiday, but we were doing a respite/Make-A-Wish type visit, and Emma understood how important this was for our family … constant communication was such a comfort and showed how much she genuinely cares about both the cats and their families …Thank you, Emma, for giving us peace of mind and taking such wonderful care of our precious boy!

    you really put our mind at ease

    This cattery is amazing. It is clean, spacious and the owners clearly are committed to giving the best stay to all their feline guests. Ollie, our cat, can be quite skittish and shy, but he settled in really well and was very relaxed when we picked him up. Emma, the owner sent us pictures of Ollie each night - he was in the cattery for 2 nights - and it was clear from the pictures that he had settled in well.

    I have boarded my cat Jessie at Longcroft when we go on holiday. She is looked after very well by Emma and her team. The accommodation is very good, clean and warm. I would recommend boarding your cat at Longcroft so you can have peace of mind that your cat is being well looked after when you go away.

    I have two cats, 9 and 7 yrs, who had only ever known our home. I was incredibly stressed and nervous looking for somewhere for them to live for a week whilst we were between houses. Emma at Longcroft did a great job talking at length through how they looked after their guests, reassuring me my babies would be absolutely fine. And they were! The set up is fab, the pamper options are so cute(!), and they settled in pretty quickly, especially our most anxious baby. Emma sent photo updates to reassure us and after a couple of days I stopped stressing, which was down to Emma, her team, and the fab little luxury hotel she runs.
