The peaceful location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests – a calm retreat designed with comfort and feline happiness in mind.

Longcroft Creeting St Peter is part of our award-winning family of boutique cat hotels, each individually owned and lovingly run by feline experts dedicated to personalised care. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do and every cat receives plenty of playtime and one on one attention. All cat owners receive regular updates and photos throughout their kitty’s stay, giving them complete peace of mind that their feline family members are safe, happy, and thoroughly pampered.

Each of our suites comes complete with a thermostatically controlled bedroom, a wrought-iron bed with soft bedding, and an adjoining private play area that brings the outdoors safely in. Every guest can enjoy fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature while remaining cosy, secure and enclosed. Each suite features a full-height cat tree with sunbathing platforms and privacy films between suites. Daily housekeeping with meticulous litter care ensures every suite remains clean, calm and beautifully maintained.

Throughout their stay we provide tailored enrichment, gentle grooming, care needs and mealtimes to meet each guest’s established routine. For owners who value exceptional standards or for felines with more specific needs, we offer our Luxury All Inclusive Package and Medical Care packages are available. We can provide chauffeur travel arrangements on request.

    Creeting St Peter is a small, historic and charming village nestled in Mid Suffolk’s Gipping Valley. Located between Stowmarket and Needham Market, just off the A14, the hotel is surrounded by fields and farmland but is conveniently close to Ipswich and Colchester. Situated at the end of a tiny lane, with wrap around garden and a meadow, the hotel is located to the side of LJ’s home, overlooking her beautiful, mature garden. So, she is always close at hand to cater to her feline guests’ every need.

    Meet The Family

    LJ and her husband Jon - her partner of 34 years - adore all things feline. As a couple they have always lived with at least two cats, including rescue kitties and pedigree pussycats. Their home has never been without pets, always cats and sometimes other animals too - currently they have six chickens as well as their four cats: a ginger tom named Roo, a Scottish Fold called Trudy and two young Maine Coons, brothers called Bert and Ernie. They even took their pet cats with them when they lived overseas for a time and adopted more while they were there! So they have plenty of experience caring for a wide range of cats, with their different personalities and needs. Longcroft Creeting St Peter is a real family affair, with LJ’s husband, plus their grown up son and daughter, joining in the cat cuddles at the weekends. Kitties will receive plenty of one-on-one human interaction and expert care.

    Now they are settled in their gorgeous forever home, LJ is excited to be stepping away from her job at a tech firm to focus on caring for other people’s cats while they are away:

    Warm, welcoming and beautiful attention to detail

    A lovely experience for our cat … Our cat is on daily medication and is quite a shy old boy and has not stayed away from home since he was a lot younger. Well, he soon made himself at home! Lovely updates while we were away and photos to put us at ease. LJ and her daughter truly care. Will certainly be checking Wilson in again when we need to.

    We were initially apprehensive about leaving Berry as our past experience at another cattery was not a good one, but LJ put us at ease. She was so attentive to our cat’s needs and asked lots of questions beforehand so she could prepare everything. Her cat hotel is clean and furnished to a high standard and she kept us updated regularly with well written emails and photos. Our Berry is a little spicy, but LJ and her family handled her with so much love and care, as if she was their own.
