Longcroft Tring, Hertfordshire offers just seven luxury suites, located in owner Jenny’s pretty garden and providing round the clock supervision, security and consistency of care. The peaceful location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests – a calm retreat designed with comfort and feline happiness in mind.

You’ll have placed your cat in the very best hands. Longcroft Tring is part of our award-winning family of boutique cat hotels, each individually owned and lovingly run by feline experts dedicated to personalised care. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do and every cat receives plenty of playtime and one on one attention. All cat owners receive regular updates and photos throughout their kitty’s stay, giving them complete peace of mind that their feline family members are safe, happy, and thoroughly pampered.

Each of our suites comes complete with a thermostatically controlled bedroom, a wrought-iron bed with soft bedding, and an adjoining private play area that brings the outdoors safely in. Every guest can enjoy fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature while remaining cosy, secure and enclosed. Each suite features a full-height cat tree with sunbathing platforms and privacy films between suites. Daily housekeeping with meticulous litter care ensures every suite remains clean, calm and beautifully maintained.

Throughout their stay we provide tailored enrichment, gentle grooming, care needs and mealtimes to meet each guest’s established routine. For owners who value exceptional standards or for felines with more specific needs, we offer our Luxury All Inclusive Package and Medical Care packages are available. We can provide chauffeur travel arrangements on request.

Tring is a small market town in Hertfordshire adjacent to the Buckinghamshire border. It is situated in a gap passing through the Chiltern Hills, classed as an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, 30 miles northwest of London, perfect for those wishing to check their cats in before enjoying their own holiday!

    Meet The Family

    Jenny has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. After moving with her family to Tring, she was excited to open her very own Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel :

    “I’ve always had a huge love for all animals but have a special soft spot and passion for cats. My mantra has always been home isn’t complete without at least one feline friend! My first cat was a lovely black and white girl called Whiskey. She was adorable and followed me everywhere. She was a great friend when I was growing up. Cats never fail to put a smile on my face. We now have two beloved rescue cats ourselves, Domino and Little Bob.

    "I was introduced to Longcroft by my sister who is a Longcroft regular, well her adorable kitties are! I was so impressed with the attention to detail and emphasis on cat welfare, that when the time was right, becoming part of the amazing Longcroft Team was a necessity for me! After an enjoyable career as a police officer, I now feel so lucky that my days are full of cat cuddles and purrs. I am always excited to be able to offer owners the opportunity to go away on their holidays or travels, knowing their pussycats are being taken care of in a home from home environment, getting all the love and attention they need.

    Jenny has really taken the time to get to know and spend time with him which has been very re-assuring. Jenny proactively sends regular updates with pics which gives us comfort he is in safe hands. He spent his birthday at Longcroft last year and it was so nice to see the effort that Jenny went to to celebrate with him. I'm sure he can't wait for his next stay with his holiday meowmy, he never wants to leave! :)

    Jenny took great care of her!

    I felt very comfortable with leaving my princess cat with Jenny, she took great care of her! Jenny sent photo updates and a cute postcard too. Zelda loved her suite and watching squirrels out of the window, and she got a goody bag when she left including a laser toy she is now obsessed with! I’d definitely bring Zelda back here - thank you Jenny. 🐱

    Highly recommended!

    I left my precious 2 year old cat Smitten with the team at Longcroft Tring, whilst I was on holiday for 3 weeks, and Jenny did a superb job!! I was really nervous to leave my cat for such a long time but Jenny was very re-assuring, calm and patient. She sent myself wonderful updates and photos of my cat smitten playing and sleeping. After picking up smitten I could tell instantly she had been well looked after! She settled back at home so well that I was very impressed! Once again thank you so much to the Longcroft Tring team and to Jenny for this 10/10 service. I’ve already booked my next slot as I’ve been so satisfied with the level of service! Highly recommended!

    I was immediately struck by how immaculate the rooms are

    I was quite nervous about leaving my two kittens for the first time but Jenny put my mind at ease instantly, showing such care for the cats who stay with her. I was immediately struck by how immaculate the rooms are the little touches like treats and toys. Jenny kept me updated regularly and went above and beyond on Pearl’s birthday, decorating her room and treating her throughout the day. With Villanelle being so young I was expecting some upset but she, like Pearl, has come home happy and rested (and incredibly well groomed). I can’t recommend Longcroft Tring enough! Thank you!

    We can't recommend Jenny enough

    This was the first time Marley, our rescue cat, stayed in Longcroft and we can't recommend Jenny enough. Marley is very shy cat and scared of new pople, places & noises. Based on our past experiences with other catteries we expected Marley to be stressed when we picked him up but we were so happy and pleasantly surprised to find him happy and relaxed in his lovely room. Jenny did great job with him and made him feel safe and relaxed. She is wonderful lady, who understands cats need. She also sent us regular updates in form of photos and videos so we could also relaxed knowing that Marley is happy and safe. Also place is spotless and set in beautiful quiet garden where cats could watch birds and squirrels. Lovely place and lovely lady, who will go above and beyond to give outstanding service.

    I would highly recommend

    Our 2 cats stayed here for 10 days. We had regular updates and were really happy with the accomodation and the level of attention they received from Jenny. It was really nice to know that they had playtime and were being made a fuss of. I wouldn't hesitate to use Longcroft again and would highly recommend it.
