Longcroft Walkern offers just eight luxury suites, located in owner Amanda’s pretty garden and providing round the clock supervision, security and consistency of care. The peaceful location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests – a calm retreat designed with comfort and feline happiness in mind.

You’ll have placed your cat in the very best hands. Longcroft Walkern is part of our award-winning family of boutique cat hotels, each individually owned and lovingly run by feline experts dedicated to personalised care. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do and every cat receives plenty of playtime and one on one attention. All cat owners receive regular updates and photos throughout their kitty’s stay, giving them complete peace of mind that their feline family members are safe, happy, and thoroughly pampered.

Each of our suites comes complete with a thermostatically controlled bedroom, a wrought-iron bed with soft bedding, and an adjoining private play area that brings the outdoors safely in. Every guest can enjoy fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature while remaining cosy, secure and enclosed. Each suite features a full-height cat tree with sunbathing platforms and privacy films between suites. Daily housekeeping with meticulous litter care ensures every suite remains clean, calm and beautifully maintained.

Throughout their stay we provide tailored enrichment, gentle grooming, care needs and mealtimes to meet each guest’s established routine. For owners who value exceptional standards or for felines with more specific needs, we offer our Luxury All Inclusive Package and Medical Care packages are available. We can provide chauffeur travel arrangements on request.

    Meet The Family

    Amanda is passionate about cats: “I have two fur babies of my own, Tommy (a tuxedo British Shorthair) and Tilly (a Ragdoll mix), and they are my absolute world. I got my first kitten at the age of six and was instantly besotted, and since then have never been without a feline friend. Life doesn’t feel complete unless I have a cat chattering away in the background and rubbing against my legs!”
     
    Amanda is a qualified accountant, who specialised in tax and worked in practice for 30 years. By chance she stumbled across Longcroft when searching for a suitable holiday location for her own beloved kitties. She quickly fell in love with the idea of opening her own luxury cat hotel.
     
    “I love running my own hotel and couldn’t think of a more purrrrfect way of spending my days than looking after such precious kitties! Customers can feel absolutely safe in the knowledge that I will treat and pamper every feline guest as if they were my own. I look forward to
    meeting all the different breeds and love how all cats have their own, unique personalities. Pussycats will be in good hands at Longcroft Walkern, so their owners can enjoy a relaxing, worry-free time away.”

    A lovely, quiet and calm spot

    We are so happy to have found such a lovely, quiet and calm spot to leave our Bert. He is a bit nervous with people he doesn't know, but you could tell that he had been won over by Amanda, by how relaxed he was, in the many photos that she'd sent of him, during his stay. You could see that he was being spoilt and fussed over. Which is what we all want for our cats. We will happily leave Bert with Amanda next time we go on holiday. Knowing that he is being well cared for. Which will allow us to enjoy our holiday, without feeling guilty.

    This isn’t just any cattery

    Can’t rate this cat hotel highly enough. The owner, Amanda, is lovely and really cares for the cats in her cat hotel well. It is always spotlessly clean and we get photos with updates during our holiday which I really appreciate. Longcroft may cost more than other ‘catteries’ but this isn’t just any cattery, it’s a hotel, and for me the peace of mind and care my cats get is well worth it.

    Amanda clearly loves all the cats who come to stay with her

    This wonderful cat hotel is the perfect place for your precious cats. This was the first time my nervous rescue cat had been away from me, but Amanda knew exactly how to reassure her, and Coco was soon letting her rub her ears and giving her nose bumps. When I arrived to pick her up, Coco was fast asleep in the cat tree and was not in the least bit stressed … This is a five star hotel and I would never go anywhere else.

    Amanda has looked after our cats a few times now. They are well looked after, thoroughly spoilt and we get fabulous photos and updates of their holiday time while we are away. We can go away knowing the cats will be looked after and pampered and living their best lives!!

    Amazing cat hotel which is spotlessly clean with great facilities for the cats. Amanda is fabulous, she is so knowledgeable about all types of cats and really gets to know your pet’s needs and personality to make their stay even more special.
