We have fully comprehensive cover to insure your cats whilst they are in our care, however please be aware we are unable to insure against any pre-existing conditions your cat may have, or in the event of injury resulting from multi guests from the same family sharing a suite. 

Therefore it is the responsibility of the owner to settle any veterinary fees that you cats may incur whilst staying with us. In the event we feel your cats require veterinary help we will seek advice and any necessary treatment from our own local veterinary surgery in order to keep travelling to a minimum.

We will make every effort to contact you using the emergency contact details you have provided below to discuss any situation that may arise. Please be aware that if we are unable to contact you we will make a decision on your behalf, naturally this will be in the best interest of your cats.

I had the pleasure of checking in Tallulah to this beautiful cat hotel during May 2019. Situated in a quiet, but central area of Chelmsford, it was easy to find and park. Claire had been attentive and detailed in the lead up to my booking so I knew all would be perfect. A lovely location in a spacious garden, meant that from her suite, Tallulah could enjoy some nature views.Every feline dietary requirement is catered for, it really is an all inclusive experience! Aw recently Our little princess Leela 😺 went to Chelmsford luxury cat hotel. She gets a lovely suite ☺️ We receive lots of little photos, with a message ☺️ It’s so nice that we can leave her in comfort that she is well looked after by Claire and her family ☺️ She gets played with regularly and a bonus she gets to try some different foods 🦐 and was even trained to use a cat flap. We couldn’t thank Claire and her family anymore ❤️ We will definitely be using the luxury cat hotel again.

I cannot thank Claire enough for putting me at ease whenI first went to meet her and view her cat hotel. The accommodation was first class, clean and the suites full of some very contented cats.This was the first time I had left Hector and knowing he would be in such safe and carrying hands allowed me to fully enjoy my daughters wedding without any worries.The photos throughout the weekend showed how contended my boy was. Thank you again Claire, I know Hector is looking forward to a return visit, rest assured I will most definitely be recommending you to all of my friends.

Kitty stayed here for just over a week and settled in fine. She was happy and looked bright and attentive when I saw the pictures of her whilst on holiday. We were looking for a good place to leave our two cats, Sox and Peanut, whilst we were on holiday for 2 weeks and someone recommended Longcroft to us. We managed to find space for them at Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Chelmsford and have to say that we were so happy that we did. It was a real peace of mind for us knowing that the boys were in a lovely, clean environment and were being really well looked after by Claire and her husband Tim. We received updates every few days with photos of the boys which I used to look forward to. The food they had was of high quality, especially as Sox and Peanut can be fussy eaters. We couldn't have asked for better for our two boys and we will definitely be taking them back there in the very near future.Thank you Claire and Tim for taking such great care of our boys!

Cat heaven - that’s all I’m saying! My two naughties just didn’t want to leave - one hid in the cat tree and the other went back to bed. The facilities are excellent and the personal love and attention that Claire gives to each of her ‘guests’ is wonderful. I’m thinking of booking myself in for a week! You will not find anywhere better.

I had booked 2 of my cats Mia and Noah in for a 8 day stay and was very nervous to leave them as I have never used a cat hotel or cattery before. I was really upset on the day I left them but was excited to see constant updates from Claire and Tim with photos of both of them whilst I was away. Mia seemed to have settled in more or less straight away with Noah taking a little longer to settle down only as he was very nervous.The facilities are definitely 5*, 10/10 and both of them had an outdoor section that had a climbing cat tree which they both loved plus indoor section with heating and a soft fluffy bed for them both to cuddle in including a litter tray each. They were pampered and very well looked after and I could not have asked for a better place for them both to be kept at.I 100% recommended Claire and Tim at Longcroft Chelmsford and will definitely be returning with Mia and Noah including my 3rd cat Milo that sadly missed out as he was being looked after my sister at the time.On the day I picked them both up they didn't want to leave but when I finally got them in their carriers they were also gifted with a goodbye present from both Claire and Tim which I thought was such a lovely gesture.I would really like to thank both Claire and Tim for their wonderful hospitality and 5* care for Mia and Noah whilst I was away.Mia and Noah will miss you both but will definitely look forward to their next holiday with you!They are happily reunited with Milo who is 100% jealous hahaThanks,Julie x

Our cats wellbeing is our top priority when we have to leave town and we are so delighted to have found Claire and Tim! The suite that our two cats shared was clean, comfortable and bright. One of our cats is a tripod (three legged) and Claire and Tim made sure that the suite was equipped with a set of stairs for Hattie and they were unfazed by any needs that she had. They looked after the cats as if they were their own, and we won't take our cats anywhere else to be looked after.

My cat Snowbell has just spent 2 weeks at Longcroft and I can't praise Claire and Tim enough. I have only had Snowbell since September so I was nervous about leaving her for 2 weeks, but I needn't have worried Claire and Tim took excellent care of her and I got updates and photos every couple of days of how Snowbell was getting along . Longcroft will be my first call when I next go on holiday, as I know what great care they give I can not recommend them enough

My 3 boys stayed at Chelmsford long Croft luxury cat hotel last week for 8 days.Claire sent me lovely photos of my boys enjoying their holiday. Also the boys got a bag of goodies to bring home with them. Claire & Tim said my boys were so good. I was so happy with the way the family looked after my boys, I highly recommend this place. Give it a try you want want to put ur babies anywhere else!!

Claire and Tim did an amazing job looking after my special girl, Ripley. This is the first time we used Longcroft and it was a last min thing. Firstly , Longcroft head office were brilliant and accommodating in terms of finding us available rooms for our two cats. Their first car vacation was at Longcroft Chelmsford with Claire and Tim. Before arrival, Claire was already communicating with us on their location and procedures . We were given updates throughout their stay at Chelmsford by Claire and Tim with photos. We could not be more happy and assured and could enjoy our holidays without any worry at all. Claire and Tim were first class and such caring hosts. Milo and Misty were settled and happy. I have no hesitation in recommending Longcroft Chelmsford as the service and care is first class. PHEW, am I glad we found Longcroft Cat Hotel Chelmsford. Claire and her family have the best cat hotel ever, and have made going on holiday so much easier for us. After booking 10 days stay for Tilly, my very nervous 14 year old cat. I followed this up with various telephone calls to Claire expressing a few concerns at the time, which Claire was soon to reassure me of any that I had. And she was right, as I had nothing to worry about. After dropping Tilly off, who very soon made herself at home in the cat tree. We felt very comfortable going on holiday and leaving her with a family who genuinely love cats. Longcroft Cat Hotel has top quality conditions, very clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. We received email updates including photos. When we collected Tilly, we could see straight away how extremely well she had been looked after. Tilly was relaxed and in no hurry to leave!We have already booked Tilly for next year. I would recommend Longcroft Cat Hotel Chelmsford to anyone looking for a home from home stay for their cat. We have used Longcoft before but this was the first time at Claire's hotel, it having recently opened. Claire has continued the great service you get with Longcroft. The suites are spacious and are at the end of the garden with much going on to amuse the residents. The suites contain a heated area and a large "day" area with a great cat tree. The daily updates and photos were great and well received by an anxious parent. Poppy has returned refreshed and relaxed. We will use Claire's hotel again and have no problem in highly recommending her services.

Could not recommend Longcroft enough. Cookie stayed for 10 days, we received regular updates and when we picked her up, she was so chilled out and beautifully groomed. She loved her time with Claire and Tim and we will be booking again for our next trip.

Our two Maine Coons, Daisy and Hugo, have just stayed for the first time with Claire & Tim at Longcroft Chelmsford. This was only their second time they have stayed in a cattery and a total contrast from the other place they stayed at. Claire & Tim have certainly restored our confidence in being able to leave our two house cats in the care of someone else.Regular updates clearly showed how well looked after they were, especially making them feel relaxed and maintaining their daily grooming and cleaning regime. When they returned home they were also very relaxed and calm, which goes to show that their care was exceptional.Thank you Claire & Tim for making their stay such a positive and worry free experience for us all. We will definitely be happy to use your services again the next time we travel.

I can’t recommend Longcroft Chelmsford enough! Claire and her family went above and beyond to help Dash settle in. Claire emailed me with daily updates and amazing photos to let me know that Dash had settled in and was enjoying his time at Longcroft. Dash loves company and enjoyed his grooming and play sessions with Claire and her family, I’m not sure he was ready to leave when we went to pick him up! Shortly before our trip away Pinky became very ill and needed daily medication, including antibiotics and steroid cream. Naturally we were worried about leaving her but Claire and Tim were absolutely wonderful. They were totally accommodating to her needs and sent us lovely email updates which put our minds at ease while we were away. Check-in and check-out were smooth and the room itself was spacious and clean. We would absolutely recommend Longcroft for going above and beyond and for taking extra special care of our cat. Lily my 10 year old cat stayed for 2 weeks at the cat hotel. I was a bit apprehensive about leaving her as she had never been in a Cattery on her own before and she is a very timid character. I shouldn’t have worried, she seemed to settle in quite quickly.We received regular updates from Claire which included photos of her looking very relaxed. I think she was pampered so much she didn’t want to leave.On collection we received a lovely goody bag, which included a couple of new toys for her, which was a really nice touch.The cat hotel is a little more expensive than other catteries but to be honest the service is better and I would definitely use again.

Cat Heaven! Claire was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond in my eyes. We were so surprised by the options available and the accommodation was wonderful. My cats made themselves right at home and didn’t want to get into the basket to come home. The whole process from booking, dropping off and collecting was so simple and stress free. We had regular updates and amazing photos whilst we were away, something to really help ease your mind. They came home stress free and relaxed, as if they had been at the spa for a weekend! This was the first time for us at Longcroft Chelmsford and I am really pleased with the decision to leave Kevin and Maggie with Claire whilst we were away. Claire understood that our cats are quite nervous and made the effort to relax them and make sure they are comfortable. We also received lovely photos of Kevin and Maggie whilst we were away, which gave us peace of mind to see they were both nice and relaxed. Since returning Kevin and Maggie back home they seem to be their normal selves and back to ruling the roost!

Dolly and Sunny had never stayed away from home before so I was very nervous about how they would react. Claire and her husband clearly love cats and cared for them wonderfully while we were away. Longcroft is great. I wouldn’t leave my cats anywhere else. One of them didn’t want to come home, we had to tip her out of the cat tower ! They are already booked in for two more stints and I feel completely confident they will be well cared for.

Our two precious fur balls , Bob and Binky , have just come back from Longcroft in Chelmsford. Claire and Tim and family have looked after them impeccably. They were given such good care and cuddles. As soon as I left Longcroft I felt very happy that they were going to be looked after and indeed spoilt. This in turn made me really enjoy and relax whilst on holiday. And the lovely photos we received whilst we were away were just delightful to see and made us smile . The accommodation was spotless and large and they had feathers to play with and were given lots of love . We chose the all inclusive price which included a spa day, treats and milk at bed time and lots of one to one attention. They certainly enjoyed all of this as when we came to take them home they did not want to come with us ! Our two cats stayed at Longcroft Chelmsford for 2 weeks while we were on holiday in the US and we could not be happier with the care and attention they received from Claire and Tim. We had lots of updates and photos on how they were getting on and what they were doing which is so reassuring when you are away from them. We felt that Claire and Tim truly cared for the cats and we could tell that they were in good hands.The suites were absolutely spotless and had everything our cats needed to be happy and enjoy their stay. I wish I could book myself in for a stay!
Daisy and Nala particularly enjoyed their lovely bed and the cat tree! When we came to collect them they did not want to go home and Daisy jumped straight back into her bed. Our highly anxious kitty stayed with Claire and Tim for a month last Christmas, and had such a wonderful time there as she was so well-taken care of. 5 Star...We had just moved to the UK and hesitant to leave our 2 perfect:) Persians whilst we went to the states for the summer. Longcroft came highly recommended by our local vet in Kew. Our little lady has just spent a long weekend with Claire and Tim. I will definitely be sending her again. She didn't want to leave the hotel, refusing to go in her carrier when we went to get her! Iris thoroughly enjoyed her first holiday at Longcroft Chelmsford. The hotel is clean and bright with a nice view to the garden for Iris. I could tell Iris was well looked after as she was very relaxed when picking her up. Claire and her family are really nice and provided regular updates on Iris' adventures whilst I was away. We've just collected our Mainecoons Dexter & Morgan from Longcroft Chelmsford. This was their second visit, but for a much longer period. We weren't worried, as we knew the exceptional care and attention they would receive from Tim & Claire. The regular updates reassured us, and it was clear they were having a great time. Both of our cats clearly adore Longcroft and are relaxed in the environment. Tim & Claire take time to build bonds and get to know each guest. This makes for contented kitties. Longcroft Chelmsford is by far the best cattery we've ever sent our cats to. Claire and Tim were amazing, with constant updates and photos. We even received a beautiful gift bag for our fur babies when we collected them, such a lovely touch. This high standard cat hotel in the Longcroft brand is family run in the centre of Chelmsford in a lovely garden which is close to the house. There is always plenty of activity to keep our lively oriental cats stimulated, with squirrels and birds adding to the entertainment around the garden. First class, secure accommodation where we can be sure our cats receive first class care.

Amazing cat hotel, couldn't recommend it enough. Kip came home relaxed and happy, I was anxious to leave him but I know he was in safe hands and the nicest of environments. We put our cats Thomas and Ralph with Chelmsford Longcroft for the first time recently for 3 weeks. Both Claire and Tim provided not only us with a great service but also, the care they took over our cats over that time was incredible. They provided us with regular updates which was comforting for us whilst away but also lovely to see how happy they were. I would highly recommend Longcroft if you are needing a cattery whilst you are away and we will certainly be taking them back to stay when we are next away!

I would like to thank Claire and Tim for the wonderful care they took of our cat Pickle she is actually a diabetic cat and not many people will look after diabetic cats as she has to have 2 injections every day, they were so caring and gentle with her.She has only ever been in one cattery before because we've had no confidence in leaving her anywhere. I actually want To book next year's Holiday already just so we can make sure Pickle can go back to see Claire and Tim. She was happy and relaxed and well taken Care of and we felt so Safe leaving her there. We had emails every other day with pictures of pickle and letting us know her progress which really set our minds at peace and when We went to collect her she was also given a Goody bag and was purring loudly. We can't thank Claire and Tim enough for their wonderful care their beautiful cattery and how safe and happy they made us all feel. Longcroft is a wonderful find right on the edge of the city. Our kittens stayed there for a weekend and came home happy and demanding an upgraded cat tower. Check in and out is pleasant, friendly, chatty and not hurried at all. The facilities are clean, bright, comfortable and practical. They even provided a ladder for our four month old kittens to climb up to bed. A perfect cat hotel.

This is a fantastic place to board your cat, I highly recommend it. The owners were friendly and professional, and kept in touch with me while I was away to share lovely photos of my little buddy Monster. My cat can be quite shy and this is the first place where he settled in quickly and comfortably, and he was so relaxed when he came home. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. I will be booking Monster in for all of my future trips!

Fantastic cat hotel and would 100% recommend. The rooms for the cats were very spacious and very nice. Claire was very friendly when we dropped Bella off and we were sent photos throughout the time Bella stayed there which was much appreciated. She even came home with a big bag of treats.

Callisto, Salem and Hex loved their stay here every detail was accounted for. Clare kindly cleaned up Salem as he arrived as he had left a present in his carrier and washed the cushion. Very clean inside and all your crazy cat Mum requests where taken on board. When we picked our kitties up we got 3 lovely goody bags and my kitties have been playing with the toys that came in them all day and yummying the treats! Cannot wait to bring the cats back hopefully next Easter!!!!

My cat was recently a guest at Longcroft while I was away for 2 weeks. I can honestly say it was the best experience I've ever had of a cattery. Claire and Tim are genuine cat lovers who sent me regular updates and photos so I could relax safe in the knowledge that Toby was happy and being really well cared for. The establishment was spotlessly clean and beautifully comfortable. Claire totally put my mind at rest and I would recommend Longcroft unreservedly. We will definitely be back!

For the first time away from home for our 5 month old kitten we wanted to make sure she was well looked after and comfortable. We couldn't have picked a better place. Claire and the Longcroft Team clearly love cats and look after them as if they were their own. We had regular updates with pictures, a great touch when you have left your loved pet somewhere new! She came home a very content cat. Our kitten is already booked in for her next holiday in a few months time and I would 100% recommend Longcroft to anyone.

We were looking for a good place to leave our two cats, Sox and Peanut, whilst we were on holiday for 2 weeks and someone recommended Longcroft to us. We managed to find space for them at Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Chelmsford and have to say that we were so happy that we did. It was a real peace of mind for us knowing that the boys were in a lovely, clean environment and were being really well looked after by Claire and her husband Tim. We received updates every few days with photos of the boys which I used to look forward to. The food they had was of high quality, especially as Sox and Peanut can be fussy eaters. We couldn't have asked for better for our two boys and we will definitely be taking them back there in the very near future.Thank you Claire and Tim for taking such great care of our boys!

Brilliant cat hotel located in central Chelmsford. Claire and Tim were both very helpful and happy to answer any questions I had. We received regular updates and photos so we could relax knowing our cat was well looked after. The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely decorated. 100% recommend, will be using again.

This was our first visit to Longcroft Chelmsford .We were very impressed with the quality of care for our two cats, they seemed very relaxed and happy when we returned to collect .It was reassuring to have photos and messages while we were away. A definite recommendation! We shall hope to come again.

My Cat Gus had a wonderful time during his stay at the Longcroft Cat Hotel. He loved it so much I don’t think he wanted to leave! Really easy to find, Claire was incredibly welcoming and friendly, her updates whilst I was away were attentive and put me at ease knowing my Cat was very well looked after whilst I was away. Fantastic value for money. The rooms are warm and spotless with plenty of space but enough seclusion. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Longcroft Cat Hotel in Chelmsford :)

Our cat had been re-homed at least twice before we adopted her, and we were worried about leaving her whilst we went on holiday, in case that she thought that we had left her permanently! We wanted to place her somewhere where she would get looked after on a one to one basis, and Longcroft turned out to be perfect. Actually, when we came to take her home, she initially didn't want to go! Five stars and highly recommended. Will be using Longcroft again.

It was quite a pleasure working with the owner to board my two 8 month-old kittens here. I know that they were well taken care of by someone who truly loves cats. The cherry on top of the pie was receiving high-quality photos of my kittens from Claire, which really meant a lot to me. Thanks for everything, Claire! Absolutely fantastic service and put our minds at ease.Claire and Tim are clearly very caring and passionate about cats and it really shows. We left our three with them whilst we were abroad and we would use their services again (in fact, we've already booked in for another 2 stays!). The fact they were able to keep our 3 Bengals entertained speaks volumes!The use of WhatsApp is perfect, Claire provided updates every few days with pictures - it all felt nice and personable.The rooms are the perfect size, having an outdoors section with a big tree to play on and a heated indoor section for a cozy nights sleep.5/5, we couldn't recommend them enough! =^.^=

Longcroft cat Hotel Chelmsford is fantastic!This really is a wonderful cattery, it’s clean, tidy very well organised, professional, trustworthy and luxurious! My cat Pip had such a lovely stay, so much so he did not want to come home. Claire does a incredible job and keeps you updated with everything that is going on with your cat and takes such good care of the cats. This really is such a wonderful place to leave your cat, Claire put me completely at ease and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Exceptional. Our last holiday mum sadly retired and we were concerned that we wouldn’t ever find anywhere smallscale and local that suited our teenage cats needs. After much searching I was recommended Longcroft at Chelmsford. Our big boy stayed a week and was reluctant to get back into his carrier box to go home! The rooms are spotlessly clean, large and airy (heated bedroom). We had updates of his stay including photos. Drop off and pick up seamless. Our boy was very happy with his goody bag on departure. We’re glad that we can now plan to go away again, knowing that there is a cat hotel that I’m comfortable leaving one of our family in. Thank you once again Claire and Tim xxx

Can't thank Claire and her family enough for watching our little boy Moshi while we were away! They kept us up to date with how he was doing and sent us pictures of him every other day. When we returned to pick him up he looked happy, calm and relaxed, and even went to Claire for cuddles before coming over to us! I would never go anywhere else with him now and we are already booking him in for next year. Great variety of good quality food and asked questions about home routine to make him feel more comfortable which was a lovely touch. Well worth the money.

Both my cats, Mikey and Daisy stayed here and had a wonderful time. The set-up is extremely impressive and we got to go on a family holiday with complete peace of mind that the cats were warm, safe, stimulated and groomed as well - a big thank you to Claire, we will certainly use again.
