Longcroft Orpington is nestled in the leafy rear garden of Daisy’s family home, surrounded by beautiful woodlands. Orpington is a town in the London Borough of Bromley, Greater London, at the south-eastern edge of London’s urban sprawl conveniently located close to Junction 4 of the M25.

    Meet The Family

    Having experienced first-hand the benefits of using a Longcroft Cat hotel for her beloved cat Terry, a bi-colour British short-haired male, Daisy was keen to translate her passion for cat welfare into the creation of her own cat hotel: “I was delighted to see how happy and well looked after Terry was when we returned from our annual holiday and when we moved house. After moving to our new home in Orpington, with a spacious garden, I looked into opening my own boutique hotel with Longcroft. I felt I too could offer the very best of care for people’s beloved feline companions, giving their owners the same peace of mind as I received from the first-class experience that Longcroft offers.”

    Daisy and her husband, Kim, moved to Orpington, from their previous, busy Central London location, two and half years ago. They welcomed the move to their new home, with spacious garden surrounded by beautiful woodland. Daisy has over 15 years’ experience in the luxury fashion industry, but felt opening her Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel was the perfect opportunity to combine her love of cats and dedication to animal welfare with running a business that would work purr-fectly alongside her family life!

    Calm, organised and reassuring

    Our cat Hannah hadn't stayed away from home before, and we were in some turmoil because of building works. Emma was superb - calm, organised and reassuring. Hannah stayed with her twice, and was very happy in her wonderful suite. The photos were great as well. The whole experience was a great relief and about the only aspect of our project which was delivered on time and was better than expectations! I would like to give Longcroft Winchmore Hill the highest recommendation possible.

    Helen made sure that Denzel felt secure and happy

    Denzel is a rescue cat and I didn't want to put him in a cattery whilst we moved house, as he would think that he had been abandoned again. Longcroft was the right choice for him. From the beautiful cat bed to the amazing scratch post/hammock/plaything the venue is perfect for pampered pets. In addition to the 'room' the thing (well, person really!) that made Denzel feel welcome was the lovely Helen. When we arrived Denzel had got a little upset and Helen made sure that he felt secure and happy before we left him to his little holiday. To reassure us even further, we received emails from Denzel telling us what he had been up to and how he had enjoyed the A La Cat menu that we had arranged for him. Denzel and I would highly recommend Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel Fontwell as somewhere ideal for your cat to stay.

    It's the best holiday they have ever had

    Having viewed at least 10 places locally and feeling very disheartened by the lack of connection with the proprietors , their lack of real passion in cats and also seeing that the cat suites where nothing more than just a basic wooden shelter with little security I was about to give up. Then I saw an advert for Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel, I immediately went the website and I knew there and then that I had found my cats the perfect safe place. Having put my 16yr old in a cattery before he had destroyed his room, pulled the cat flap away from the internal wall, so I was really worried. But to my surprise he quickly took to Abi and his new holiday home, within a few minutes he was eating and quiet contended. The 2 girls both seemed a little more cautious but after a while settled in happily. Abi knew it was my first time leaving them in a new place and that my eldest was on tablets and my youngest was very nervous and hated being away from me for long periods, but I knew they were safe and Abi would look after them. It was the first time I have left them and not looked back wondering if they are OK, are they happy? Which actually made my vacation more enjoyable. When I returned to collect them I was a little sad that they did not rush to meet me, instead they were lying on their beds chilling in no rush to move. I have already booked their next Holiday for 2015. If they could actually speak to me they would say ‘it’s the best holiday they have ever had and could I go away more often’.

    You have got it just right!

    We are so happy to have found Abi and her beautiful cat hotel. Our two cats stayed for the first time recently and seemed to settle in immediately. We were pleasantly surprised to hear from Abi while we were away informing us that they were quite happy and totally chilled. This type of reassurance, the wonderful setting and Abi's genuine love and knowledge of cats makes this Hotel by far the best we have ever come across and we have owned cats for many years. We have already booked again for September. Well done, Abi you have got it 'just right!'

    Emma was brilliant!

    Freddie, our 4 year old stayed with Emma for 9 days in May. We homed Freddie from the blue cross 6 months ago so weren't really too sure how he would react. The facilities at Longcroft are excellent and Freddie was already getting quite settled when we left him. Emma kept in regular contact with us via email and told us of a slight issue with Freddie settling in. Emma was brilliant, very patient and tried a number of things to try and find out what the problem was with Freddie. It wasn't long until we discovered he's super fussy about the type of litter he uses... Once Emma changed the litter to wood pellets all the issues disappeared. When we went to collect him, he was so settled and didn't really want to leave! I can't thank Emma enough for being so patient with our little man and for taking such great care of him. Longcroft is the only place Freddie will visit when we go on holiday as it's so reassuring to know that the 4 legged friend you love so much is getting great care. Freddie is looking forward to seeing Emma again in November and for 3 weeks this time!

    Wow! I don't know where to start with the incredible service that Daisy offers to the little kitty guests and their humans. We have tried cattery's before and our boy (Cooper) was often left alone for extended periods of time, meaning he would come home very stressed and low. When I found Longcroft on Google I instantly knew this was the place to nurture and care for him. I am an anxious kitty mummy who finds it hard to be away from him but Daisy instantly set us at ease with her kindness and friendly smile. We received daily updates that were so gorgeous and to see our kitty feeling safe, loved and nurtured was so heartwarming. Daisy is a loving, genuine and warmhearted person who your cat will most likely fall in love with! :-)

    My husband and I would like to thank you for looking after our little Ivy. We enjoyed the daily updates via email with pictures and were delightfully surprised when we received a postcard by Ivy (it was the highlight of our holiday!).We can really see the difference in her experience with you compared to previous catteries. Ivy had an incredible stay at your cat hotel which is a testament to you and the service you provide, and I know she cannot wait to be back.She loved her gift bag and really enjoyed having you to look after her on our behalf.Thank you for also being accommodating on the pick up time, we really appreciate your flexibility.We also had a wonderful experience with yourself and look forward to checking in Ivy again, in the near future.

    We had our cat stay with Daisy while we got married and went on holiday for two weeks. Daisy was so attentive to our cat for her entire stay at Longcroft, she gave us daily updates with pictures and sent us a lovely postcard on our wedding day. When we collected her she looked very happy in her suite and on her climbing pole.

    Our cats, Tom and Jasper, loved their repeated stay at Longcroft Orpington.Daisy has a beautiful nature with the cats. One of our cats can be particularly shy, whilst the other one can be fairly grumpy. Daisy won them both over instantly. She also gives the owners plenty of time to see their cats settle and to ask any questions - fully understanding that we are more anxious than the cats!Receiving the regular updates and postcards whilst we were away gave us complete peace of mind, especially seeing them being played with and lapping up the attention.Our cats always come back far better groomed and are much more relaxed in the car on the journey home than they were on the drop off.The goody bag is always a hit with the cats too - they are particularly loving the catnip frog which has been played with constantly since they got home.I can’t thank / recommend Daisy enough. Knowing that our cats are safe, well cared for and happy is priceless!

    I needed to find accommodation for my very new kittens shortly after bringing them home from the breeder. At short notice and with great care Daisy took in my brand new babies and attended to their every need. She sent little updates and pictures which was hugely reassuring, fed and played with them with warmth and genuine affection. Their 'hotel' room was warm and comfortable and safe, all top class. Daisy also continued with a specific feeding regime that we had started. Nothing was too much trouble, our kitties came home relaxed, well cared for and very happy.     I had to go away for work and I was very nervous about leaving my kitten Cleo.From the moment I dropped Cleo off, Daisy was so welcoming and put me at ease. Every day I would get an email update and photos. When I picked Cleo up it was very clear that she was happy and had been extremely well taken care of. Daisy had brushed her, played games and given her cuddles. We even got a little goody bag to take home. I cannot recommend Daisy and Longcroft enough! Thank you

    Cannot praise Daisy & Longcroft Orpington highly enough. We’ve never used a cattery before and both our boys are older (13 & 11) so we were a bit anxious but we needn’t have worried. They were beautifully looked after and very spoilt!

    It was 8yr old Leo’s first time away from home for his short 3 night vacation and I was really nervous about leaving him alone. On Leo’s day of arrival, Daisy gave us a small tour of his room and met Leo. The room was absolutely spotless and the interior design was stunning! Very luxurious with a high end feel, soft velvet materials for the beds, aesthetically pleasing colours, ergonomic layout and lots of attention to detail. The rooms are gently heated and face a large well kept picturesque garden, there is soft classical music playing in the background coupled with nature noises from the garden. Daisy definitely has a charm with cats and Leo instantly warmed to Daisy. Leo was pampered with love, attention, playtime, grooming and now the bar has been set for me! Leo came back totally relaxed, I have never seen Leo look so happy and perky, it was as though he came home with a spring in his step. Daisy sent daily postcards including pictures and was so loving and attentive towards Leo and if that wasn’t enough, Leo even got a goodie bag at checkout filled with treats and toys! I felt silly afterwards for worrying so much because Leo clearly had a fantastic time. Thank you Daisy! Leo absolutely loved his stay and we look forward to vacationing with Longcroft Orpington again.

    This was the first time my cats had been anywhere other than home. My older cat Luna being a very sensitive cat had me very worried and anxious for her.Daisy took such good care of my cats which I could see from the daily updates, photos and videos. I was worried they may not want to come back home! When I went to pick them up after our holiday, both Luna and Salem were very calm but pleased to see us. Once back home they settled in very quickly and honestly I haven’t seen my cats so calm before.I can’t thank or recommend Daisy enough for the care and love shown to my fur babies.

    What a fabulous find.This was our first time leaving our cats so we were extremely nervous. But as soon as we met Daisy we knew our cats would be in fantastic hands. Our cats seemed really happy. We were kept up to date with how they were doing with lovely emails and pictures. Our cats were looked after and came back with beautiful fresh coats from their treatments. I would recommend Daisy to anyone looking to leave their cats. We already have them booked in for next year

    From James & Tasha: Our kitties absolutely loved staying at Orpington with the owner Daisy! We cannot praise Daisy enough - she gave us updates every few days including lots of kitty pics and ensured she catered to their needs (our kitties are very fussy and needy; they need constant attention!). We were very cautious about leaving our kitties in a place for so long given we leave them weeks at a time but they absolutely loved their little holiday.The rooms are so spacious (we got the extra large en-suite for our two kitties). They have a massive cat tree (including a hiding hole), heating, windows and their own special cat bed.Our kitties always come back so freshly groomed and extremely healthy and happy with some new toys to play with (thank you Daisy!).We changed our dates quite a few times due to changes in our plans and Daisy catered for these changes with no problems at all.We can’t wait to use Orpington again - thanks so much Daisy!

    We were lucky to have found such a luxurious and caring home for our Siberian cat while we were away for a month.We were worried about leaving our kitty for so long especially as it was his first time away from home but the moment we met Daisy and her beautiful cattery we knew he would be very well looked after.The suites are immaculately clean and full of all the creature comforts a kitty could dream of. Daisy played with him a few times every day and it was clear when we picked him up that he was very happy, really well fed and beautifully groomed.We also absolutely loved the frequent photo updates and picture postcards Daisy sent us - what a treat!We can’t recommend this place enough and this is definitely our go-to place if we ever need someone to look after our cat again.
