Longcroft Orpington offers just six luxury suites, located in owner Daisy’s pretty garden and providing round the clock supervision, security and consistency of care. The peaceful location is perfect for both indoor and outdoor guests – a calm retreat designed with comfort and feline happiness in mind.

You’ll have placed your cat in the very best hands. Longcroft Orpington is part of our award-winning family of boutique cat hotels, each individually owned and lovingly run by feline experts dedicated to personalised care. Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do and every cat receives plenty of playtime and one on one attention. All cat owners receive regular updates and photos throughout their kitty’s stay, giving them complete peace of mind that their feline family members are safe, happy, and thoroughly pampered.

Each of our suites comes complete with a thermostatically controlled bedroom, a wrought-iron bed with soft bedding, and an adjoining private play area that brings the outdoors safely in. Every guest can enjoy fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature while remaining cosy, secure and enclosed. Each suite features a full-height cat tree with sunbathing platforms and privacy films between suites. Daily housekeeping with meticulous litter care ensures every suite remains clean, calm and beautifully maintained.

Throughout their stay we provide tailored enrichment, gentle grooming, care needs and mealtimes to meet each guest’s established routine. For owners who value exceptional standards or for felines with more specific needs, we offer our Luxury All Inclusive Package and Medical Care packages are available. We can provide chauffeur travel arrangements on request.

    Meet The Family

    Having experienced first-hand the benefits of using a Longcroft Cat hotel for her beloved cat Terry, a bi-colour British short-haired male, Daisy was keen to translate her passion for cat welfare into the creation of her own cat hotel: “I was delighted to see how happy and well looked after Terry was when we returned from our annual holiday and when we moved house. After moving to our new home in Orpington, with a spacious garden, I looked into opening my own boutique hotel with Longcroft. I felt I too could offer the very best of care for people’s beloved feline companions, giving their owners the same peace of mind as I received from the first-class experience that Longcroft offers.”

    Daisy and her husband, Kim, moved to Orpington, from their previous, busy Central London location. They welcomed the move to their new home, with spacious garden surrounded by beautiful woodland. Daisy has over 15 years’ experience in the luxury fashion industry, but felt opening her Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel was the perfect opportunity to combine her love of cats and dedication to animal welfare with running a business that works purr-fectly alongside her family life!

    I felt totally reassured

    I used Longcroft Cat Hotel for the first time in May 2024.  I had been let down by my usual cattery and was a little nervous at trying somewhere new.  I needn’t have worried! From the moment I dropped my cats off with Daisy I felt totally reassured that they would be well looked after.  Daisy is very warm and welcoming and the ‘hotel rooms’ were absolutely immaculate and spotlessly clean.  Daisy obviously pays a great deal of attention to detail, and everything is well thought through and catered for.  Daisy kept in touch throughout my holiday sending me lovely email updates with photographs of the cats and even gave them a spa day which they thoroughly enjoyed!  Longcroft isn’t the cheapest but in my opinion it is money well spent as you can’t put a price on the security and reassurance that they provide.  I would have no hesitation and total confidence in recommending Longcroft to any cat owners.

    The facilities are excellent

    Our Bengal cross has been to stay with Daisy on two occasions now. The facilities are excellent- very clean and well appointed. Daisy’s communication is excellent and it is clear she really cares about the experience her ‘guests’ have during their stay. We will not hesitate to use Longcroft Orpington again in the future.     I can’t thank or recommend Daisy enough

    This was the first time my cats had been anywhere other than home. My older cat Luna being a very sensitive cat had me very worried and anxious for her. Daisy took such good care of my cats which I could see from the daily updates, photos and videos. I was worried they may not want to come back home! When I went to pick them up after our holiday, both Luna and Salem were very calm but pleased to see us. Once back home they settled in very quickly and honestly I haven’t seen my cats so calm before. I can’t thank or recommend Daisy enough for the care and love shown to my fur babies.

    We were lucky to have found such a luxurious and caring home for our Siberian cat while we were away for a month. We were worried about leaving our kitty for so long especially as it was his first time away from home but the moment we met Daisy and her beautiful cattery we knew he would be very well looked after. The suites are immaculately clean and full of all the creature comforts a kitty could dream of. Daisy played with him a few times every day and it was clear when we picked him up that he was very happy, really well fed and beautifully groomed.

    A home away from home

    A home away from home, this cat hotel is outstanding, Daisy goes above and beyond to care for the cats. Booking was prompt and easy, with very professionally coordination between the head office and the local hotel to ensure all travel and living arrangements are made to ensure maximum comfort and minimum disruption to the cat guest. We were going away for a very long holiday, but Daisy provided us reassurance everyday through fantastic updates, stories, pictures and postcards. More than reassurance, she treats the cats like they are family, and it is clear from her endearing approach, that she really loves the cats.

    An absolute gem

    Daisy, who runs the orpington longcroft hotel, is an absolute gem and a rare find. she could not have done more to look after our beautiful kitkats, who were clearly loving their time with her (they don't love everyone). the entire place is immaculately maintained. all our special requests were catered for and we were updated very regularly with photos, news and postcards. when i picked them up after almost three weeks, they looked as healthy as they have ever looked, perfect weight and the glossiest fur. i will have no hesitation whatsoever in rebooking here whenever we go away. thank you daisy, from all of us, including the paws.

    Daisy treats every guest like royalty and my cat settled in so quickly. From cosy corners to endless affection, this place is more spa retreat than cat boarding. Highly recommended if your cat deserves the good life! We are very lucky to have found Daisy and Longcroft and can highly recommend!

    We recently had the pleasure of leaving our two Siberian beauties, Loki and Gaia, at Longcroft Cat Hotel Orpington, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we met Daisy, the owner, it was clear she has a genuine passion for cats. Her warm, friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, and her love for animals shines through in everything she does.The hotel itself is impeccably designed—cosy, clean, and with ample space to ensure our cats were comfortable and content. It’s evident that a lot of thought has gone into creating an environment that feels like a home away from home for feline guests. Daisy went above and beyond to keep us informed during their stay, providing regular updates and photos every couple of days. Her responsiveness and attention to detail were incredibly reassuring, especially for us as frequent travelers. Daisy even put together a goodies take homebag which was so special and thoughtful!Loki and Gaia settled in beautifully, which is a testament to the care and professionalism of Daisy and her team.     My 11-year-old indoor cat is quite nervous, not very friendly with strangers, and easily stressed. Last year, when I traveled for two weeks, I placed him in a cat hotel, but unfortunately, he became ill and had to spend a night in the hospital. This time, I was very anxious about leaving him again, even though I found a different cat hotel. Thankfully, Daisy took such amazing care of him that he returned home healthy and stress-free. I am so grateful for her exceptional care and attention. I will absolutely book with Daisy again whenever I need to travel!

    Simply wonderful. Communication and updates were great. Thanks so much to Daisy for looking after Percy. He was a very happy and content kitty when we picked him up. Would definitely book either one of our cats into a Longcroft Hotel again.

    We used Longcroft Orpington twice now and we have been so happy and impressed with Daisy. Our two British Shorthair boys were pampered and looked after with great attention, care, and love by Daisy. We received daily updates, photos, videos and a lovely postcard which we adored. Both cats settled in well and bonded with Daisy after couple of days. Even our timid boy who is normally scared of strangers, loved spending time with Daisy and getting attention and daily strokes. It was so nice to see them comfortable and happy around Daisy when we picked them up. We will definitely use this place again as we trust Daisy and know our cats are well cared for when we are away. Thank you Daisy once again ❤️

    Wow! I don't know where to start with the incredible service that Daisy offers to the little kitty guests and their humans. We have tried cattery's before and our boy (Cooper) was often left alone for extended periods of time, meaning he would come home very stressed and low. When I found Longcroft on Google I instantly knew this was the place to nurture and care for him. I am an anxious kitty mummy who finds it hard to be away from him but Daisy instantly set us at ease with her kindness and friendly smile. We received daily updates that were so gorgeous and to see our kitty feeling safe, loved and nurtured was so heartwarming. Daisy is a loving, genuine and warmhearted person who your cat will most likely fall in love with! :-)

    My husband and I would like to thank you for looking after our little Ivy. We enjoyed the daily updates via email with pictures and were delightfully surprised when we received a postcard by Ivy (it was the highlight of our holiday!).We can really see the difference in her experience with you compared to previous catteries. Ivy had an incredible stay at your cat hotel which is a testament to you and the service you provide, and I know she cannot wait to be back.She loved her gift bag and really enjoyed having you to look after her on our behalf.Thank you for also being accommodating on the pick up time, we really appreciate your flexibility.We also had a wonderful experience with yourself and look forward to checking in Ivy again, in the near future.

    We had our cat stay with Daisy while we got married and went on holiday for two weeks. Daisy was so attentive to our cat for her entire stay at Longcroft, she gave us daily updates with pictures and sent us a lovely postcard on our wedding day. When we collected her she looked very happy in her suite and on her climbing pole.

    Our cats, Tom and Jasper, loved their repeated stay at Longcroft Orpington.Daisy has a beautiful nature with the cats. One of our cats can be particularly shy, whilst the other one can be fairly grumpy. Daisy won them both over instantly. She also gives the owners plenty of time to see their cats settle and to ask any questions - fully understanding that we are more anxious than the cats!Receiving the regular updates and postcards whilst we were away gave us complete peace of mind, especially seeing them being played with and lapping up the attention.Our cats always come back far better groomed and are much more relaxed in the car on the journey home than they were on the drop off.The goody bag is always a hit with the cats too - they are particularly loving the catnip frog which has been played with constantly since they got home.I can’t thank / recommend Daisy enough. Knowing that our cats are safe, well cared for and happy is priceless!

    I needed to find accommodation for my very new kittens shortly after bringing them home from the breeder. At short notice and with great care Daisy took in my brand new babies and attended to their every need. She sent little updates and pictures which was hugely reassuring, fed and played with them with warmth and genuine affection. Their 'hotel' room was warm and comfortable and safe, all top class. Daisy also continued with a specific feeding regime that we had started. Nothing was too much trouble, our kitties came home relaxed, well cared for and very happy.     I had to go away for work and I was very nervous about leaving my kitten Cleo.From the moment I dropped Cleo off, Daisy was so welcoming and put me at ease. Every day I would get an email update and photos. When I picked Cleo up it was very clear that she was happy and had been extremely well taken care of. Daisy had brushed her, played games and given her cuddles. We even got a little goody bag to take home. I cannot recommend Daisy and Longcroft enough! Thank you

    Cannot praise Daisy & Longcroft Orpington highly enough. We’ve never used a cattery before and both our boys are older (13 & 11) so we were a bit anxious but we needn’t have worried. They were beautifully looked after and very spoilt!

    It was 8yr old Leo’s first time away from home for his short 3 night vacation and I was really nervous about leaving him alone. On Leo’s day of arrival, Daisy gave us a small tour of his room and met Leo. The room was absolutely spotless and the interior design was stunning! Very luxurious with a high end feel, soft velvet materials for the beds, aesthetically pleasing colours, ergonomic layout and lots of attention to detail. The rooms are gently heated and face a large well kept picturesque garden, there is soft classical music playing in the background coupled with nature noises from the garden. Daisy definitely has a charm with cats and Leo instantly warmed to Daisy. Leo was pampered with love, attention, playtime, grooming and now the bar has been set for me! Leo came back totally relaxed, I have never seen Leo look so happy and perky, it was as though he came home with a spring in his step. Daisy sent daily postcards including pictures and was so loving and attentive towards Leo and if that wasn’t enough, Leo even got a goodie bag at checkout filled with treats and toys! I felt silly afterwards for worrying so much because Leo clearly had a fantastic time. Thank you Daisy! Leo absolutely loved his stay and we look forward to vacationing with Longcroft Orpington again.

    What a fabulous find.This was our first time leaving our cats so we were extremely nervous. But as soon as we met Daisy we knew our cats would be in fantastic hands. Our cats seemed really happy. We were kept up to date with how they were doing with lovely emails and pictures. Our cats were looked after and came back with beautiful fresh coats from their treatments. I would recommend Daisy to anyone looking to leave their cats. We already have them booked in for next year

    From James & Tasha: Our kitties absolutely loved staying at Orpington with the owner Daisy! We cannot praise Daisy enough - she gave us updates every few days including lots of kitty pics and ensured she catered to their needs (our kitties are very fussy and needy; they need constant attention!). We were very cautious about leaving our kitties in a place for so long given we leave them weeks at a time but they absolutely loved their little holiday.The rooms are so spacious (we got the extra large en-suite for our two kitties). They have a massive cat tree (including a hiding hole), heating, windows and their own special cat bed.Our kitties always come back so freshly groomed and extremely healthy and happy with some new toys to play with (thank you Daisy!).We changed our dates quite a few times due to changes in our plans and Daisy catered for these changes with no problems at all.We can’t wait to use Orpington again - thanks so much Daisy!

    March 2021Daisy looked after Quinn while I was packing up my home to move abroad, and then up until his flight abroad a few weeks later.Daisy takes such amazing care of my boy, and lavishes him with love and affection. He enjoys a night time turn down, playtime, snuggles, lots of grooming time which Quinn adores, and I receive beautiful photo updates through out his stay. He is happy and healthy, and I couldn't ask for better care. Daisy is an absolute star, I would highly recommend!
