Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel group is a company proud of its family roots. Longcroft began as a small family business in 2010 with a chat over coffee between founder Abi Purser and her mother, which developed into the concept for the UK’s first ever five-star luxury hotel group for cats. Thanks to
Abi’s passion, expertise, talent and hard-work, coupled with the knowledge and support of her family, Longcroft is now a multi award-winning, five-star cat hotel group, with 20 locations across the UK. 

Longcroft takes a revolutionary approach to cat boarding, placing animal welfare at its heart. The first bespoke cat hotel was opened by Abi in 2010 in her back garden. Demand for Longcroft’s five-star level of service quickly outstripped capacity, so Abi involved her family, including husband Matt,
in order to grow the business. The second cat hotel opened five miles away from Abi’s own hotel in 2012, opening to rave reviews and amazing customer feedback. Since that time every cat hotel has been built to the same exacting standards and they continue to receive an ever-increasing demand for their service.

The team at Longcroft are excited to have been asked to attend the prestigious National Family Business Awards ceremony on Saturday 13 July 2019 at Wembley Stadium. Awards such as these play an invaluable role in helping to raise the profile of growing family businesses such as Longcroft.
