On a balmy Spring afternoon …
… in the beautiful cottage garden of Vicky’s family home in Letchworth Garden City lies the country’s 19th Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel. This exclusive hotel is for cats only with just 5 spacious suites each with their own beautifully appointed bedrooms and bright day areas, each suite looks out onto plenty of wildlife and there are even resident chickens to entertain the feline guests. We all had the pleasure of filming with the BBC Three Counties video team today who loved our hotel as much as we do!
The BBC team told us the story of how they had rescued 6 kittens over Christmas and hand reared them themselves as they set up the equipment for an afternoon on filming, we of course armed them with feather wagglers and a selection of treats, ready for an afternoon of feline play and relaxation which all comes as standard at Longcroft.
They had the pleasure of meeting 7 month old rescue kitten Bungle who had come to stay with his friends Reggie and Pixie who played up to the cameras, adorable Ragdoll kitten Lolly and senior guest Teddy who whiled away the afternoon sunbathing and purring from the top of his cat tower!
